POLICY

Understanding how policy at local, national, and international levels is essential to furthering Mobula conservation. The implementation of resolutions by tuna fisheries management bodies, referred to as tuna Regional Fisheries Management Organizations (RFMOs) will help to protect these species based on scientific advice. Collaborations between stakeholders are essential to reach this objective. Our team uses social science methods to identify conservation gaps and opportunities for Mobulas at the international fisheries level.
